Finally, I managed to get hold of their very first Japanese album. This one is when the girls are still very young, when they're just 20 something. This CD was released in 1996 and at that time, I wasn't really much into music yet. This CD has 7 great tracks off their debut album and I must say that I really enjoy it! I do like the first track 'Toku Suru Karada' or known as 'Profitable Body' in English. It really makes me refreshed every morning when I listen to it. The song is more about working out in gyms as well as getting into other sports. There are other great tracks too like 'Usagi Channel (Rabbit Channel)', 'Simple', 'Sakura Saku (Cherry Tree Blossoms)', 'Nagaiki ShiteNe (Live a Long Time)' and 'Puffy No Hey! Mountain)'. Quite sentimental though, but still a goody-goody. And of course, my most favourite track of all; the song which I like to sing the most; the song which I can never live without listening to it even for a day; and that is their very first single from this debut album 'Asia no Junshin' or should I say 'True Asia' in English. This song has been my all-time favourite from Puffy AmiYumi and I still love singing to it, even now. I'll post up a review of this CD probably next week on my right panel.

We got disgusted everyday with everyday life
We didn't get it, but we kept on anyway
Then the rain and wind washed the tedium away
I'm exhausted as I recall last year's birthday, topics from yesterday.
Because of a magazine photo, we walked away empty.
The night painted everything.
Blooming flowers hid it all.
Look at the sky extending far as you can see.
Look at the ocean, connecting our nation
We forgot everything for a while
But we didn't forget to be fair
Rain and wind, night and flower.
You helped me
The sun comes along no matter where we go
No one gets in our way
I got it that everything is to forget
I moved into tomorrow with fairness on my mind
We promises the ocean and the blue sky
(This song makes me feel like shedding tears... dunno what made me feel moved to this song... *sigh* could it be the translated lyrics?)

Eduardo Gory Guerrero
1967 - 2005
This man will be remembered as the hero of WWE from the Hispanic region to be the 2nd WWE Champion. An icon to many of my friends who are WWE fans, including myself. The man who came up with the phrase 'We lie, we cheat, we steal!'. And now he's gone. One of my fave WWE superstars from Friday night Snackdown!, he's really one of the best WWE wrestler and entertainer. Always lie, cheat and steal but still a true wrestling hero to us all. May god bless his soul...

Today's episode of
Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi played 4 of my fave hits from them. In
Opera Yumi, their hit 'True Asia' is being played. In
Save The Farm, 2 hits are on: 'Sunday Girls' and 'K2G'. And before
Pen Pal, there's a short clip which featured 'Sayonara'. Kinda big surprise for me, as all my fave hits are played on one show today... lol... and I'm still plugging in to 'solosolo', Puffy's 2nd Japanese release which they sang solo tracks. Hoping to find 'amiyumi' and 'Fever Fever' someday....

This is a very rare search in Singapore. No CD shops may be selling this anymore 'coz it quite very old and Puffy is not really that much heard among the peeps here. And I was super lucky to find a 2nd hand copy of this Puffy album at a price of $7.00. Cheap, isn't it? Well this album is of Ami and Yumi singing solo pieces on this double disc album. And I prefer Yumi's tracks more, especially the single 'V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N' which can also be found in the Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi soundtrack. Ami's tracks has more ballads, especially 'Honey' which is one of my favourites. I'll pin up this review on my right soon. Haha... a great find on the day before my birthday =D
