Complains... complains... go ahead! Like as if you are the only one paying. What about the others who wanted to come in? They're paying too, idiot. What's with all the commotion of 'we are the ones paying and expect very good service'? If you want excellent service, go to a fine dining restaurant. We're a cafe! Now picture this:

Me: How can I help you, sir?

Guest: How come the service here is terrible?

Me: I'm sorry sir, is there anything I can do for you?

Guest: Look at all the empty plates on my table. There's so many of them. But you go clear those who have already left. Who is more important?

Me: Well sir, he has to clear to make room for more people sir. I can help you clear the plates, sir.

Guest: What do you mean? Other people want to come in, so important is it? We are paying for it, so we should get the service, not those who have not come in yet.

Me: But sir, they're also paying too, sir, and if he did not clear those tables where the other guests left, they may not be able to come in and...

Guest: No no, we are here already and we are paying for it, so I expect the best service from all of you. I think your manager is also responsible for this, everyone of you.

Me: Well, my sincere apologies on the behalf of the cafe, sir, but is there anything I can get for you?

Guest: Of course, la. Clear these plates for me can or not?

And at the same time, one of my managers passed by and he started calling out to her. I've no idea what he's saying to her, but I know it's something bad.

When its time for the bills, I give them a comments card, and as usual, he wrote bad comments and tick everything as below expectations. All names witheld for personal reasons.

Well, I hope he's happy about that. If not, no idea what to say.
